Perfect Body + Less Sacrifice
As, I sit here eating the most delicious pepperoni pizza, the kind where the cheese drips off and the top layer of grease glistens so angelically, I start to focus on my summer vacation to Myrtle Beach and my ideal teeny bikini I have had my eye on. I continue to eat my pizza, hey, it’s thin crust at least, and come up with the best ways to diet and exercise. Please remember, that despite how badly we want to fit into that black cutout bathing suit, throwing up is just not pretty. And it is so two years ago!
Jumping Rope: Run into any dollar store and pick up the new favorite routine. A 15 minute session can burn about 150 calories. That’s more than running a mile!
Swimming: Sneak into the nearest pool and splash around. Basic water aerobics consisting of walking, jogging, and jumping jacks, and swimming, can burn more than 200 calories per half hour. Best part, you can take a break and work on that golden tan.
Sex: You can burn approximately 200 calories for every half hour during sex. It doesn’t matter if you are screwing, banging, or making love, this feel good exercise is good for your emotional and physical health. This activity includes use of all of the body’s muscles. Is there seriously a better way to exercise?
Hula Hoop: Actress Marisa Tomei swore by her hula hoop to get into shape for her sexy nude scene in The Wrestler. Using a hula hoop tones your waist, arms, and hips and can burn anywhere between 44 and 110 calories in ten minutes.
Dancing: It doesn’t matter if you are at the bar, club, supermarket, or in your house, blast your iPOD and groove. Crank up Katy Perry “I Kissed a Girl”, Brittney Spears “If U Seek Amy”, and Theory of a Deadman’s “Bad Girlfriend” and shake you ass and your hips and burn 153 calories per half-hour.
Stripping: Working out your arms, thighs, stomach and butt with some sexy dancing and a sturdy pole. In one pole dancing sessions, as many as 500 calories can be burned. You can purchase Carmen Electra Stripper Pole Kit on Amazon for $120. Now finally a reason to wear those 5 inch glitter stilettos.

Loyalty and Cosmetics - Are Expensive Makeup Brand’s Worth the Money?
So I have loyalty in my blood - I am a cancer, after all. I consider it a goal in life to find the PERFECT brand/designer/store/etc for each item that I purchase. Sure, I LIKE shopping, but I LOVE getting nice things. That’s the point right?
Once I find this perfect supplier for all my individual needs, I can look forward to their new collections, their sales, their events etc and shut out all the less-than-fabulous other options. Some say I would be limited my choices too much, but if you’ve ever read the “Paradox of Choice“, you know that sometimes limiting your options is far more rewarding than having too many options.
(Note: This is not the same as having too much of a good thing. A peroxide princess’s motto is always… “Too much of a good thing can be a really good thing”, i.e. bleach)
SO anyways, I am working on finding the best cosmetics company. I have purchased makeup from so many different companies, with varying results. My main questions is: are the expensive brands worth the money? I know the feeling I get when I purchase expensive makeup. I feel like I am treating myself. But am I really tricking myself?
I was talking to a gorgeous peroxide princess today and she was explaining her makeup routine to me. I was CERTAIN that she shopped at Dior and Chanel for all her makeup needs. Her skin looked flawless (she said it wasn’t really), her eyeshadow popped, her lips looked smooth and juicy.
“Revlon”, she said. I couldn’t help it, I replied back, “drugstore!?”. I hope she didn’t take that as an insult because it was actually a huge compliment in disguise.
So I am asking my Kaboodle friends if they find the expensive makeup to be worth the money. I am anticipating mixed results.
The real problem is the guesswork. With department store makeup, I can “try it before I buy it”. I suppose you can do that with drugstore makeup too but that is considered “stealing” and not “customer service”, so I don’t recommend it.
