Who can’t relate to Holly Golightly and her glamourous struggle to find out where she fits in in the world?

There is plenty of more educated critiques and commentary on Breakfast at Tiffany’s then what I can offer but I can say this - I was delighted to see that I was not the only woman who tried to reinvent herself at any given moment and who throws everything she has into her latest, albeit, fleeting goal. (Portugese anyone?)

Oh and this movie ranks up there with one of my favorite “drunk lady” scenes. I always get a chuckle over scenes where put-together women have a couple too many cocktails and their true, silly colors start to show. Also on THAT list is Monkey Business staring Marilyn Monroe. (FYI, the author of Breakfast at Tiffany’s originally wanted Marilyn Monroe to star Holly - he seen the character as grittier than cute & classy Audrey)
