Brrr… Time to Wear a Coat

My winter coat will be white this year. I’ve had one in the past and it really isn’t that hard to keep clean. Plus you could get it scotch guarded then it is a piece of cake. Blondes look great in white coats. That is a fact. Plus, a white coat creates a gorgeous monochromatic style that encompasses the scenery – blonde hair, white snow, creamy white skin, and.. white coat. Gorgeous. Toss in some super red Dior Dior Addict Lipstick and you’re a bombshell.
Lash Out with Latisse
Hallelujah! The day has come that we can retire our glue and fake eyelashes. LATISSE is the first FDA approved prescription product that creates longer, darker, and fuller lashes. It’s a once a day application that is applied to the base of your upper eyelashes. Results can start being seen in 4 weeks and you’ll see full results after 16 weeks. Cost is about $120 for 30 days. Ladies, start fluttering those lashes!
Check out www.latisse.com for more info.
For those of us who can’t wait 4 weeks, we can get by old school in the meantime. Check out the featured video on the home page for some glamour makeup tips.

Don’t stop at pretty!
Only if they are animal print ballet flats
I don’t find many reasons to wear flats.
Some say driving requires the use of them, however I find heels the perfect driving shoes. Adjust the seat accordingly and pivot. You can’t pivot in flats!
I have found that exercising in high heels is rather dangerous. Also not allowed in the gym. For this reason I do own one pair of tennies and they are kept permenently in my gym bag.
Woes of all woes, I got my brand new dress pants back from the tailor and they were hemmed waaaay to short for my usual four inch heel. I could attempt a “kitten heel” but those just trip me up.
Lucky Magazine had the perfect answer for me, the anti-flat! One of their “if you could buy only one thing this spring” picks was snakeskin ballet flats! I love them! I started doing some searching and found a bunch of great options at all price ranges!! The animal print ones were super hot as well.
Looks like I will now own TWO pairs of flats (or maybe three or four at these prices…)
Valentine’s Day Outfit
Your choice for a Valentine’s Day outfit depends on your evening plans…
Out to Dinner with the DH or BF Today is the peroxide princess’s day to shine. No time for cute or quirky. Valentine’s day is about two things – spending time with the love of your life and rocking his world with your signature over-the-top sex appeal. Buy the sexiest red dress you can find (cliche you say? He doesn’t know that!) and spice it up with sky-high heels, a fluffy fur jacket to keep you warm, sexy lingerie underneath, and ultra long eyelashes to flutter at him.
Or, shall we just cut to the chase…

This outfit is gorgeous and will fit underneath a lot of red dresses! Surprise him! Plus this site has a lot of nice products and fast shipping!

Loyalty and Cosmetics – Are Expensive Makeup Brand’s Worth the Money?
So I have loyalty in my blood – I am a cancer, after all. I consider it a goal in life to find the PERFECT brand/designer/store/etc for each item that I purchase. Sure, I LIKE shopping, but I LOVE getting nice things. That’s the point right?
Once I find this perfect supplier for all my individual needs, I can look forward to their new collections, their sales, their events etc and shut out all the less-than-fabulous other options. Some say I would be limited my choices too much, but if you’ve ever read the “Paradox of Choice“, you know that sometimes limiting your options is far more rewarding than having too many options.
(Note: This is not the same as having too much of a good thing. A peroxide princess’s motto is always… “Too much of a good thing can be a really good thing”, i.e. bleach)
SO anyways, I am working on finding the best cosmetics company. I have purchased makeup from so many different companies, with varying results. My main questions is: are the expensive brands worth the money? I know the feeling I get when I purchase expensive makeup. I feel like I am treating myself. But am I really tricking myself?
I was talking to a gorgeous peroxide princess today and she was explaining her makeup routine to me. I was CERTAIN that she shopped at Dior and Chanel for all her makeup needs. Her skin looked flawless (she said it wasn’t really), her eyeshadow popped, her lips looked smooth and juicy.
“Revlon”, she said. I couldn’t help it, I replied back, “drugstore!?”. I hope she didn’t take that as an insult because it was actually a huge compliment in disguise.
So I am asking my Kaboodle friends if they find the expensive makeup to be worth the money. I am anticipating mixed results.
The real problem is the guesswork. With department store makeup, I can “try it before I buy it”. I suppose you can do that with drugstore makeup too but that is considered “stealing” and not “customer service”, so I don’t recommend it.
